Established in 1890 by Joseph Morphey we continue to operate as a family-run business, which is now in its 5^th generation. We are based in Yoxford, Suffolk, just off the A12.

We are an approved family-run coal merchant providing a wide range of solid fuels. We are keen to keep all of our products British and made within the UK!

All of our seasoned barn dried wood and kindling is Woodsure approved, below 20% in moisture, sourced within the UK (not imported), and processed locally.

Along with our wood, our smokeless fuels are also made within the UK.

We have set competitive prices on all our products. We may be able to offer a discount on large/bulk orders.

We offer a free delivery service on bulk orders.
